I know that I will be taking some flack for this one ,but I really liked the 1st HAWX game. There is not much to choose from when it comes to modern air combat sims for consoles. The only other game of this type is the much out dated Ace Combat 6.

From what I have read about the game before Konami dropped it was that the game was 80% complete and that all it needed was a publisher to have enough BALLS to get it out.

You mean like Americas Army, or to some extent the upcoming Medal of Honor. MoH has real places and some what real talaban looking enemies. I'm surprised the left wingers haven't come out and complained about MoH,but hey,it's still a few months away from release.

I have been following this game since it was first mentioned a few years back and looked forward to its release. Since this was based on real events in a unpopular war the news media killed it.
Although its only in pre-talking stage,I give KUDOS to Atomic for stepping up to the plate to look into letting 6 DinF see the light of day. It would be a true injustice to not get this game out

BUT,I already preordered a limited edition Halo Reach Around edition. That seem like a better buy IMHO.
You make one of the best ideas to the problem yet. MUTE them! You can always file a complaint through XBL on them also. Not that it will do much good. I doubt any of these "problem children" have the brains to know where to look for about what there "XBL reputation" says about what others think of them.

I tried to like Halo3,but found the gaming fun fouled up by hacks,cheaters ,and little foul mouthed morons. I feel the same way about CoD/MW2. Both of these games sit and collect dust in my game collection.
I wish Bungie the best of luck in trying to prevent this in the upcoming Halo Reach. It seems like as soon as they fix one issue,theres someone who has already hacked the fix!

Although its not yet in the "canceled " file the game I was hopping would come out ,but seems to be in a limbo status was six days in Falujah. Instead we get to look forward to more CoD garbage and a awfully poor excuse of a military sim MoH.

I have been a fan of this series since the days of the ps2 and 1st xbox. Ghost recon seems to bring out a different type of gamer. Unlike games like CoD or Halo,GR brings out a more sofisticated gamer.There was never a problem with cheats,hackers and screaming foul mouthed 9 year olds!

I put my pre-order in yesterday for Hawx2 and I will ready to defend the unfriendly skies. I really enjoyed the 1st HAWX. It had some excellent graphics and the 4 player co-op was alot of fun. This new one looks to set the bar even higher.
After playing IL2 for the past 4 months ,I will be really looking forward to flying something a bit more jet age. So when will we see a new Ace Combat?
To bad ARMA 1 or 2 wasn't released for consoles! People didn't like OF2DR because it was to real ( Like America's Army also ) and not a run and gun style of game. Thats what happens when you have R and G games like Halo3 and CoD/Mw2 as #1 sellers. Fans of those games think ALL fps games should play like that.
I will be looking forward to 3 of these titles. OF2 was a great game for co-op on the 360,but the Vs mode left alot to be wanted.

Thats funny! I thought the same thing. For those that don't know that area of Fla.,Tarpon Springs has some pretty rough nieghborhoods and this doesn't surprise me. What really surprises me is we don't see this happen more often...and NOT just in Florida!

I got to laugh at the author comparing MoH to Battlefield BC2! Sorry to say this,but it's not even close to being near as much fun to play as BFBC2 is.I hate to admit that I was one of the dumbass's that got suckered into perordering this P.O.S!
